Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  • 2-1/4 cups flour, unsifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups Ghiradelli chocolate chips
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Mix together flour, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl cream together butter and both types of sugar.  Mix in vanilla and eggs.
  4. Blend flour mixture into butter mixture 1/2 cup at a time.  Stir in chocolate chips and drop by tablespoon onto an ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake until golden brown (about 9-12 minutes).
